I have felt love, hate and just about everything in between for Chris Martin and Co., and following Chris's neurotic rants has been a bit like gawking at a roadside mash-up (e.g. see his fear of The Killers and his take on U2).
Now we hear a new sort of confession from Mr. Paltrow. From his acceptance speech for Best Single at this year's Brit Awards:
"This means so much to us, especially now. It's going to be a few years before you see us again. You won't see us at one of these for many, many years. We mean it." He added, "People are fed up with us - and so are we."
So, with Coldplay's future on the rocks the question is: do you care?
man i could seriously care less. they jumped the shark with X&Y. enough.

i care! even though i wasn't very happy with X&Y, you have to remember they blessed us with parachutes and a rush of blood to the head-and that's magical.

i care...hate on them if you want, but ultimately, Coldplay just writes better songs than most of the bands in this scene.
