AiH were really brilliant at Avalon. Long time fans said they'd never sounded better, attributing it to lots of touring. They picked a good night to rock, with David Byrne, Little Stevie Van Zandt (of E-Street Band and The Sopranos fame) and Alec and the Clap Kids in attendance. Check Stereogum for my review. what a fun show, great pics amrit. i felt pretty old with all the "prom" talk. i couldn't believe how fast she ran up to the balcony to throw the confetti, then back down to the stage. Pics and review here: http://indie-licious.blog.com/757265/

Best time of my life, hands down. The energy and power AiH played with was unreal, and certainly not what I expected. I must-see live. Missing my prom was worth each and every second.
