Two chances in the coming weeks to see one of my absolute favorite live acts in the local scene.

Wednesday July 19 @ Trash (in Williamsburg) w/ Gritty Midi Gang, Telenova Star. Open bar from 9-10pm. Drink specials after that. DJ Mojo spins. Goes Cube plays at 10pm.

Tuesday August 1 @ the Annex with Die!Die!Die (11pm), Detachment Kit (10pm), and Aloke (8pm). Goes Cube plays at 9pm. Free Samuel Adams beer for an hour.

Bring your earplugs. As a gesture of compassion, generosity and kindness, consider bringing some hardware for their drummer. Chances are he'll break a cymbal, drumhead, or -- if you're lucky -- the whole kit.

Good things happening for this band as of late. Make it out there.
